Announcing ‘Don’t Tread On Me’ Project
March 5th, 2009 by Scott BradfordThe Intersanity Foundation is announcing a new independent project, ‘Don’t Tread On Me‘. Inspired by the Gadsden Flag, an American Revolutionary flag featuring an Eastern Diamondback Rattlesnake on a yellow field above the slogan, ‘Don’t Tread On Me’, this project is an effort to publicize the slow erosion of American civil liberties. The initial goal is simply to provide a means for webmasters and bloggers to express—through striking web buttons and banners inspired by the Gadsden Flag—their support for the revolutionary values of individual liberty and self sufficiency.
The Intersanity Foundation is a not-for-profit public service organization founded by Scott Bradford and Melissa Lew Bradford. The Foundation operates independent public service projects, contributes to charities and foundations (both religious and secular), and contributes to open-source software projects.
